Why Am I Voting in 2015?

Why am I voting? I am voting because I have some concerns. What are my concerns? I’m concerned that the charity I work for has to pay thousands of dollars a month to the government which makes it hard to a) hire people and b) to continue making change in this country. I’m concerned that a large chunk of my paycheck is taken each time I get paid. I’m concerned about the job market in the future and overwhelming necessity for me to get my Masters in order to maintain my current standard of living. I’m concerned about the shrinking economy. I’m concerned about my religious freedoms in this country and my right to express what I believe freely. I’m concerned about the government believing that it is their right to tell parents the right or wrong way to raise their child. These are my concerns. I am not a Conservative, I’m not a Liberal, I’m not NDP, and I’m not Green Party….I am a concerned citizen who believes Canada is a great country and I will vote for the party that will (in my opinion) continue to keep this country at its best. Politics is personal. No one has the right to berate someone for having certain ideas or a point of view. An educated discussion between people about political topics is greatly encouraged, but yelling matches or bouts of indoctrination are juvenile. Have an opinion? Great. Just don’t be simple about it. The truth is there are more simple people than sensible ones. You see, many individuals seem to be a few steps behind in their human evolution to have educated discourse with others who do not share their opinions hence why there have been so many cringe worthy articles and comments being spewed out during this election period (from all sides). That’s all I have to say for now. Stay informed and don’t let anybody sway you from seeking the truth, whatever the truth is to you.

If you have any rude/unevolved commentary for this post…please keep it to yourself, thank you! 🙂
